| I am married and mum to Josh, 12 and Jessie, 10. I have been a classroom teacher and special needs teacher at Carterton School. I currently work at Kuranui part time. I am a volunteer leader at Guides, Pippins and at preschool music group. I am on the committee of the school’s 150th Jubileee celebrations and the Wairarapa A & P Society. I wish to join the BOT to help maintain the great school we already have. |

| I’ve lived in Carterton for 10 years with my wife Lyn and son Brodie, who is in year 6 at Carterton School. I help on Thursdays with the breakfast club and am also treasurer for Carterton junior football. We have been CYF’s caregivers for 7 years and recently became guardians of Joey and Lucie. They’re 22 months and 8 months old respectively and will both be going to Carterton School. So, after Brodie moves on my involvement with the school will continue. I would give my very best if elected to the Board of Trustees. |

Alex & Jorgia are current students of Carterton School. Makaylah has also been a past student. I am the current Vice President of Netball Wairarapa Inc and Manage the U17 representative netball team. I was co-opted on to the school BOT last year and look forward to working with others to meet one common goal - to work for the benefit of the Carterton School community. | I am the current Chairperson of the Carterton School Board of Trustees. I have been on the Board for around 18 months after being co-opted on to help out with the financial administration of the school. I am an accountant in Carterton and have 2 children at the school. I strongly feel that the board needs to have some continuity to it, as there is a lot to understand and learn regarding the running of our school, and to also see through the projects that are currently underway. |

| Tena koutou katoa. I have lived in Carterton since 1993. I have been Head Teacher at Carterton Kindergarten since early 2009. At our kindergarten we want the best for our children and since most of our children move on to Carterton School I am excited at the thought of being part of a team that supports this in their primary education as well. Having worked in early childhood, primary and tertiary education I feel I have knowledge, skills and experience to be useful. Carterton Kindergarten is currently reviewing its Transition to School policy and a goal for me this year is to develop stronger links with local schools. What better way forward than seeking election to the Board of Trustees. Ka kite ano . |

Over the next two years both my children will join the school roll. I am a keen triathlete, an active member of local harrier groups and play in the Fern and Thistle Pipe Band. I see the Board having a key role in supporting the teaching staff to deliver a safe, positive environment for our children to learn in. As Chief Financial Officer for the Tranzit Group of Companies, my work has me dealing with property, technology and financial matters. I see these skills fitting well with the requirements of the Board. |
| My partner Glenn and I have been in the Wairarapa for 8 years and have 3 wonderful boys. Our eldest, Oli, is in Room 13, Blake will be starting in the new year and Cole is 15 months. I myself have been an educator for 20 years. I am passionate about children and education and know that I have many attributes that will benefit the teachers, children and parents at Carterton School. Carterton School is a wonderful community based school that has many positive qualities. I would like to be a part of this and to see that the school continues to be the wonderful place of education that it is, in the years to come. |
