Time out room.

From time to time as conditions necessiate- pupils who need time out will be directed by staff to the time out room. It will operate in a designated room usually Room 1 at lunch time.

The time out room is used for negative playground behaviour.

Pupils will remain in there for a designated time nominated by the teacher and will be directed to carry out approriate tasks until released. The time out room will be supervised on a roster basis by staff.  For frequent and repeated “time out” incidents, parents of the student will be notified.
