Promotion of Children

Carterton School promotes children through classes on the basis of their age as we believe that children do best when they are happy and they are happiest with their social peers.

Sometimes it is not possible to keep children in the same class all year as the moving up of junior children can cause a shuffle-on effect through the school. Parents are consulted about these changes.
