Communication is an essential component which will help students to be able to continue their learning at home and for parents and caregivers to stay up to date with all of the important information about events, activties and trips that their child is participating in.
We recognise it can be helpful to have this information, not only on our Hero app, but utilising social media platforms such as Facebook.
School updates and newsletters will be posted on Hero and Facebook.
If you need to get in touch with a staff member or the school office however, please EMAIL the staff member or office directly. This is to ensure your message is checked and replied to in a timely manner.

Each of our Learning Teams have their own private Facebook Groups to share information that is team specific. Updates are regular and any important messages from teachers are posted here as well as on Hero.
Photos of activities, events and day to day learning is also posted here for whānau to check out to keep the home and kura connection strong.
If you are a parent or caregiver of a student in a Team you can request to join. You will only be added once a kaiako (teacher) has checked which student you are connected too.
